PROJECT 81. Define which techniques you tried and mastered? Struggled?
The techniques that I tried was point perspective, and I felt that I struggled with point perspective as it was a new aspect of art, that I didn't not think of , and it helped me with the process of the movement of the buildings. 2. How did you draw inspiration from other artists techniques or aesthetics in your work? In what ways did you derive meaning or gain historical perspectives from their work? Why these artists? I was inspired by the architecture of the city of Guanajuato and also Diego Rivera, as when I went to the city, I had the opportunity to go the museum of Diego Rivera where I saw some go the sketch work that Diego had done of the pueblos of the Mexico. 3. Describe the evolution of your piece. Decisions made. Compositional elements. In the process of creating n 4. If you could consider doing something over, explain why you would do this and what you would do next time? If I were able to change anything in this Painting, it would be the lines in the painting to make them look cleaner and also I would change the value of the piece to give it a more realistic look towards it. 5.Elaborate on how this piece links with your other pieces? What is the common thread? This piece fits into my theme of culture, as this is the major city of where my mother is from and it has influenced the way I admire the city and also allowed me to look at every aspects this beautiful city. |
